How to Use Normetanephrin ELISA kit Correctly

Normetanephrin ELISA is a ELISA for the manual and automated in-vitro diagnostic quantitative determination of normetanephrine in human urine.
Normetanephrine is a metabolite of norepinephrine created by action of catechol-O-methyl transferase on norepinephrine. It is excreted in the urine and found in certain tissues. It is a marker for catecholamine-secreting tumors such as pheochromocytoma. It is Used in the diagnosis of pheochromocytoma.
The kit is used to assay the content of Normetanephrin (NE) in Human serumblood plasma and other related tissue liquid. It is a metabolite of norepinephrine C9H13NO3 found especially in the urine.
The kit uses a double-antibody sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) to assay the level of Human Normetanephrin (NE) in samples. Add Normetanephrin (NE) to pre-coated Normetanephrin (NE) monoclonal antibody microelisa well, incubation; washing.
Normetanephrine: A methylated metabolite of norepinephrine that is excreted in the urine and found in certain tissues. It is a marker for tumors.
The color finally become jaundiced at the effect of acid. The depth of the color is positively correlated with concentration of the Human Normetanephrin (NE) in samples.
